| Descripción del artículo | VPGATE PB2S / VPGATE PROFIBUS TO SERIAL GATEWAY. DESCRIPTION: The VPGATE PROFIBUS to serial module is a gateway/converter between PROFIBUS and a serial RS232/RS485 bus. The PROFIBUS gateway supports 3 serial modes: • PROFIBUS to MODBUS serial link master (encoding rtu or ascii; DP-V0 20 MODBUS slaves; DP-V1 247 MODBUS slaves). • PROFIBUS to MODBUS serial link slave (encoding rtu or ascii). • PROFIBUS to transparent serial (end of frame character or known length; On timeout). The transparent serial mode could be used with HMI panels, BAR code scanners etc. This opens up the gateway to be able to support building, factory, process, or other types of automation.
