| Item Description | VPGATE MB2S / VPGATE MODBUS/TCP TO SERIAL GATEWAY. DESCRIPTION: The VPGATE MODBUS/TCP to serial module is a gateway/converter between MODBUS/TCP and a serial RS232/RS485 bus. The MODBUS/TCP gateway supports 3 serial modes: • MODBUS/TCP server to MODBUS serial link master (encoding rtu or ascii; 100 addressable MODBUS slaves). • MODBUS/TCP client to MODBUS serial link slave (encoding rtu or ascii; Exchange table, 125 read registers and 123 write registers; 5 simultaneous MODBUS/TCP client connections). • MODBUS/TCP to transparent serial (end of frame character or known length; On timeout). VPGATE also integrates a MODBUS/TCP gateway functionality with "direct messaging" on the MODBUS serial link.
